WP Forms widget not present in Elementor
-
I can’t add my created contact form to the contact us page when using Elementor.
I have done everything that is suggested:
– Added a contact form to the WP forms plugin
– Emded the contact form on the contact us page. When I go to elementor the wp form is not visible – searching for it doesn’t even work.
I have even tried to add the wp forms widget manually on the contact us page and that doesn’t even work.
Is there anything else I can do?

Hey @latestsightings
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble!
This is a bit strange. Can you confirm that you are following the steps in this tutorial?
Please know, you can also copy the form shortcode and paste it on a text widget in Elementor. If you’ve already given this a try and it didn’t work, would you mind sharing a link to the contact page so that we can take a closer look?
Thanks. 🙂
Hi @kmacharia
Here is our Contact Us Webpage (http://gmn.bxa.mybluehost.me/contact-us).
I have tried to copy the short code and all is does is show the short code on the page, it doesn’t show the actual contact form.
I have created the form, embeded it and followed all the steps it just won’t let me add the form.
Thank you for taking a look! Hoping there is a solution 🙂
Hi @latestsightings ,
You should use the Elementor Shortcode Widget to add your shortcodes.
Also, I see that you forgot the brackets with the shortcode, it should be like this [wpforms id=”440″] and not like wpforms id=”440″
Let me know if this helps.
