If you are trying to remove phone number only from instructor’s dashboard profile settings page then you can navigate to the following file and edit/remove line 124
\wp-content\plugins\tutor\templates\dashboard\settings\profile.php
I’m talking about the profile page visible to everyone. this example page: http://www.test.com/profile/instructeur_nom

I want the instructor to fill in their phone number in the dashboard because I am administrator I need it, but I don’t want the phone number to be visible on the instructor profile page
If I know like you said this removes the phone number and the instructors cannot put their phone number.`
