Last update breaks Revslider page

I was singing hosanna to Litespeed ever since I’ve managed to bring pagespeed of my heavily overloaded index to 96/100 (mobile/desktop). However, it appears that the last update does something unhealthy to the Revolution Slider, as my index page’s pagespeed dropped to measly 86/88. The rest of the site still flies at 96/99 or 97/100, so the culprit is definitely the revslider. TTI went from 1.4s to 3.2s, and CLS from 0.001 to 0.34.

Nothing else have changed, just Litespeed got an update.

Another observation, again a direct result of Litespeed update: lots of complaints from Ahrefs about broken javascript on many pages.

how it is broken ?

like what is expected behavior ? and what is the unexpected ?

No, this is a testimonial block (although it certainly acts as a slider),it works fine. Revslider is a part that runs big slideshow on a top, and it’s a major sloth. However, until recent update Litespeed managed to keep it at 96/100 pagespeed.

Score. Most likely related to how Litespeed (or your cloud service) optimizes the slider in question. Have you made any changes to lazy load routine?

please try go to General page , enable guest mode and guest mode optimization , then purge all , see if it helps

That completely eliminated revslider from Google’s previews, but brought the pagespeed to 99/99… which is weird, since your ajax load causes an absolutely tectonic CLS.

…Correction: 99/99 is through Google’s Pagespeed Insights. Lighthouse gives it 56, and properly notices CLS.

Update: it seems that “Load JS Deferred” was a culprit. Whatever you changed in it in the last version caused massive amounts of CLS with Revolution Slider. Once I turned it off, mobile CLS dropped to 0.
