Setting Permissions for WordPress Firewall

    I’m trying to run WordPress Firewall, but when I activate it my site becomes unavailable (I can’t access the Admin panel either).

    I suspect this has something to do with the permissions I have set. Due to a recent hack I don’t have any file more open than 755, with many at 705 or 750.

    I’ve looked for a solution on the plugin’s site and here on the forums, but I can’t find it.

    Such deafening silence…

    In case anyone comes across this same issue and finds this thread, here is what I did:

    1. Downloaded the .PHP plugin to my computer.
    2. Zipped the file.
    3. On the Manage Plugin control panel in WP, I used the “Add New” button to upload the zipped file.
    4. Once it had uploaded, I clicked on “Activate”, and it was done.

    Previously I had just been FPTing the .PHP file to my Plugins folder and then activating it from the WP plugins list panel. For some reason this didn’t work.
