Good day All,

This is my first time posting on the forum – hope I am in the correct category.

After 6 Plugin updates, the word home is in orange, not blue anymore, the drop downs on the home page is not white anymore, but bright orange.
PetsLand theme is currently active – same orange as per the theme in our drop down, and the slider/photos on home page are over some icons, instead of behind.

We trying to edit it in Appearance > Customize, the menu (menu/header..) does not work. Does nothing.

I have uninstalled all the Plugins, after a backup, and installed them one at a time and checked the site, but the orange Home is there from the get go, without any plugins. The orange drop down appears as soon as WooCommerce v 5.5.2 is activated.
Checked details of Woocommerce v 5.5.2, requires WordPress V5.5 up to 5.7.2.
Checked our WordPress is 5.8

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.

In the meanwhile I downgraded the WordPress to v5.7.2, to see if it makes a difference with the dropdown, BUT it is still orange and the Customize > appearance, which I can access now.

I see that this indicates a theme issue.

Also, from other checks, when I visited other pages on your site, the active page’s color changed to orange, so it’s not just the home page. The dropdowns are orange as well. So, this indicates a theme color scheme issue.

Thus, I’d recommend checking with your theme authors if they can guide you further on how to change the color scheme directly. You can contact them here – https://ancorathemes.com/theme-support/

WooCommerce 5.5.2 should work with WP 5.8. The next official WooCommerce release (5.6) had to happen for the tested up to version number to be updated from WP 5.7.2 to 5.8. This has already happened:

I have opened a ticket with the theme authors, and am waiting on their reply.

I have tried to edit the menu and dropdowns from orange to white on Appearance > customize > menu, but I can not.

Have even tried on WPBakery, only gives me the option to move and edit in other ways – can set colour, but not to a specific colour, only default / inhert. not sure if I should change that.

Thus, the theme authors should direct you further on where to change. In the meantime, you could try exploring to see if you can find the theme’s color scheme options in the Customizer.
