    Hello, when using the Ad Group shortcode in a MailPoet email, do the weighted rules apply to each recipient?

    For example, if I send an email with 2 ads in a group, each weighted 50-50, will 50% of the recipients receive one ad and the rest the other ad? Or does every subscriber receive the same ad, and the weighted rule determines which ad will be displayed in that particular email?

    Hi rockysays,

    thanks for reaching out.

    The weight in ad groups determined the “chance to appear” for the ads included. This applies for groups on your website or in the newsletter you send out.

    Since the shortcodes are getting processed before the email is send, 50% of the recipients receive one ad and the rest the other one.
