How to optimize picture size?

    Hi,

    I use that plugin pro version, it is very cool.
    But I have a problem, When I use big size picture, like 1.5M or bigger, how to smart optimize picture size?

    I saw the function it use webp picture, but I try to use “Regenerate Thumbnails” for all picture, but still not all picture change to WEBP, and do we have another faster way? because “Regenerate Thumbnails” optimize picture take me a whole day…

    Hi,

    Another question, should we use that plugin with Photon functionality from the Jetpack plugin? Or we have better one?

    I want to optimize picture memory size, it also important, because my web is slowly now.

    If you have command-line access to your site’s server, consider using WP-CLI instead of this tool. It has a built-in regenerate command that works similarly to this tool but should be significantly faster since it has the advantage of being a command-line tool.

    I use “WPROCKET” Cache, it can’t show WEBP pictures. then I changed it to “WP Fast cache”.

    But I use jetpack:

    Speed up image load times
    Speed up static file load times

    and Enable Lazy Loading for images

    but it doesn’t work, I didn’t see CDN the picture, I disable our plugin, it is work.

    Could you tell me how to start CDN my pictures? because it will faster my website.

    Not only that I use Cloundflare pro version too, But it also doesn’t work when I use our plugin.

    Check out the options in the Optimization section to reduce image file size, including: Image compression, WebP and JPG conversion . Also, note that original images are not loaded on the shop which makes page load faster.

    You can use the WP-CLI to run regeneration in the background, check out this tutorial here.

    Jetpack doesn’t integrate with WordPress when resizing images, instead it uses an external server which doesn’t support all resizing features in Smart Image Resize Pro. Hope to find a solution for this in a future release.

    Other optimization plugins are compatible, like: Smush, Shortpixel, Imagify.

    You can trigger the plugin by using the command wp media regenerate, check out this tutorial here.

    I tried disabled “Enable WebP Caching”, It’s very strange. because when I click clear cache on the product page, then that product page will change to WEBP pictures, but others still is jpg…

    thank you so much, I will try it in the future, but there is misunderstanding, because if I only want to convert JPG to webp, I don’t need to regeneration pictures.

    I have two problem now:
    1, wp rocket can’t show webp pictures, only clear cache one page show one, I have many products..
    2, I want to use cloundflare CDN my pictures, but it doesn’t work.

    I can see that the WebP images are correctly created but not loaded for all. Do WebP images load when you temporary deactivate WP Rocket? If yes, please email support[at]sirplugin.com, we may need some information to troubleshoot the issue.

    Yes, when I deactive WP Rocket then I can see everything webp images.

    I tried to use Smush Pro bulk smush now, I saw Smush has convert WebP function, I try to disable our plugin that function(convert jpg to Webp), if it is work with Wp rocket than it is good.

    But maybe we still need to find why we can’t check Webp.

    On the other hands, do you recommend I use Smush and our plugin? because I also find similar resize function on smush pro. but I disable that function, because I can’t sure it suit our plugin or not.

    I need someone help me, because I really want to optimize my website images but everything is right.

    I replied to your email regarding this. In the meantime, we’re looking into it internally.

    Yes, Smush is compatible with Smart Image Resize. The resize function in Smush does only scaling down/up images. However, as far as I know, it doesn’t offer the same resizing functionality in our plugin by making images uniform.
