Multiday Event Title on First Day Only

In the Novel Calendar view: I would like to display the title of multiday events on the first day only, while still filling the background color for all days of the event. Additionally, I would like the title to span across multiple days if it is too long to fit on a single line in the first day (don’t “wrap” the text in the first day).

There was a previous thread about this same exact topic 11 months ago that is marked “resolved”, but there still doesn’t appear to be a way to do this. Here is the link to the old thread:
