I inherited a WP site and have used WP in the past…What I want to do is change my banner.png to a banner.gif so I can use an animated gif in that spot rotating the banner.

Maybe there is a plug in or widget to do this, but maybe the easiest way is to make changes to call banner.gif as opposed to the .png…

    Any advise greatly appreciated…

    Regards,
    Scott

    Scott_T,

Send over a link to the site. We would typically create the banner we wanted save it as the file type you need, in this case .gif and locate where the image source is to change the file type.

This could be in the stylesheet as a background image or hard coded.

    Doc,

Thanks for the reply….What I did was create an animated gif….What I could not find was where that was located.

I did find it in the style.css. I changed .png to .gif and boom. It works….Pretty easy swap….

Thanks though for helping. The animated Gif was quick and crappy. I’ll redo it tomorrow. Our site is http://www.mbssecure.com

    Thanks again…..

    Scott
