Post-processing of the image failed.

    Suddenly I can’t upload photos or update my listings (it’s a real estate website). I’ve tried clearing the cache and using edge, chrome and Firefox on a pc running windows 10. I called my hosting provider and we spent an hour checking php limits etc. They could upload, I still can’t. I can upload using Firefox on a Mac, but not on the pc. I upgraded to the latest WordPress and updated my php. Still nothing. It’s obviously something on my pc, but I have no idea how to fix it. Has anyone had the same problem? Thanks

    Is there an error printed to the screen?
    Did you read the php or apache error logs?

    There is no php error, and my hosting provider says there is ample space. It’s bizarre because in Firefox on a Mac there’s no problem,but Firefox on the pc won’t let me upload anything.

    I get the POst processing image failed message when I try to upload jpgs or pngs, but the photos are well within the limits

    Do you have extensions installed in your verison of Firefox?

    Yes, but not in edge or chrome, and it doesn’t work in any of them
