    Incorrect file format

    Just tried to validate a pro plugin and got this error – its the same zip file that I have used before so not sure what the issue is?

    also does this mean every PRO plugin that I update I have to go and download the PRO zip file to revalidate again ? Even if you update via the WordPress plugin section ? While I understand the theory that will be a heap of work as most often to don’t get the ZIP without doing a manual update..

    Anyway if you could let me know please what you think the error is meaning?

    I now have this happening with 2 different PRO plugins any ideas?

    Hi! We’ve discovered a bug that prevents processing files if the name of a file contains more than one dot.

    Quick workaround: rename your ZIP archive to any name containing only one dot like this: filename.zip

    Worked for me! Will this bug be fixed for future scans?
