error when connecting my adsense account

Hello.
When i try to connect my adsense account, i get this error.
Do i need to wait a certain amount of time before i can use adsense on my site?

Invalid response while retrieving adUnits list for “pub-XXXXX”.
Reason: “notFound”
Message: “Ad client not found.”
