Hello, I linked our ecommerce to facebook and when the shop got created on facebook it got created with another domain, how is that possible? That other domain is acutally redirecting to the current domain.

    Current domain: kamlungcostarica.com

    Domain linked to shop: kamlungpuravida@gmail.com

However, if I click on “view shop” on instagram, the products are correctly linked to kamlungcostarica.com

This error is causing us not to be able to tag products on posts.

Also, when I go into the catalog i get a “your website is approved for instagram shopping” but it’s the kamlungpuravida.com domain…

I have added the kamlungcostarica.com domain to the domains under brand safety and I have requested this domain for review from instagram shopping.

Any clue how that other domain got linked to the shop?

  • Hi @melidox

    Thanks for your question!

As far as I am aware as I have a few active installation with this plugin, yes that when we connect Facebook for WooCommerce from the start to the end, eventually a Facebook Commerce account along with FB shop will be created and waiting to be approved.

For the domain part, the connection / installation doesn’t take care of that.

In this case you will need to contact Facebook to assign the correct domain for your shop.

    I hope that helps!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
