Hi Mueenu,
glad you are enjoying HD Quiz! Unfortunately, these two asks are literally the two most complicated things to do haha. I’ll do my best to explain the current state of these features as well as possible alternatives for you.
1. Leaderboard (want to show on widget area and after quiz)
A leaderboard will never be integrated into the main HD Quiz plugin. The main reason for this is moderation.
Allowing user-submitted data to be publically displayed on your site is a MASSIVE risk not just from a security standpoint, but also from a “content” standpoint. A leaderboard needs to display at least two pieces of data – the quiz taker’s name and their score. It is the name that is the issue for us since a malicious user could use… bad words as their name which would then be publically displayed on the leaderboard!
However, with that said, the Save Results Pro addon (can be found on the HD Quiz -> Addons page) currently has leaderboard functionality as a hidden and unadvertised feature (because the feature is in beta and being tested). Since the leaderboard requires capturing user-submitted data, the Save Results Pro addon was the best place to include it. The moderation issue still exists (as it’s impossible to solve), but is at least mitigated since you would be able to manually delete any results with malicious words.
2. Show all latest quizzes with thumbnail and title on a page automatically ..( like latest posts)
HD quiz does not create pages for you. Instead, you create quizzes and then add them to wherever you want them on your site. Because of this, there is no way to have a list that links directly to quizzes since there would be nothing to actually link to (there is no “quiz” page). In order to do what you are asking, HD Quiz would need to take up orders of magnitude more server resources and database space and it would prevent users from adding any custom content to quiz pages, or placing quizzes wherever they want on their site.
A workaround for you that might work is to create a post category called “quizzes” where you can add any post with a quiz to it. You can then link directly to this category – but this method will only work if your theme allows it and only if you are adding your quizzes to posts since pages do not have categories.
