Card Fields Blocked on mobile

    Hi

    I prefer this plug in to the paypal standard and I have tested and it does work on desktop but on mobile the card fields are greyed out and unable to enter them so for now I am having to use paypal standard

    Any ideas?

    can you please test it with another theme, please? Maybe your current theme blocks it.

    Hi Andreas,

    Thank you for the response. Unfortunately I have already tried on two different themes and it is the same on both. Works fine on desktop but not mobile.

    I disabled PayPal standard if having this activated so as not to conflict but no good.

    I guess the next step is to disable all other plugins and test but that is such a pain. If I do though and it works I will come back and update this thread for others.

    I tested the same on an android phone / chrome browser and the PayPal Payments card option is working properly. Could be another plugin is causing this? Have you tried switching off all other plugins and testing it again?

    Hi Joost,

    Thanks, I think if it was another plugin causing this issue then it would happen to you also. Maybe it is just my phone (Huwawi) that will not allow card entry on mobile.

    I will stick with the paypal standard for now, even though that is a bit hit or miss as well because sometimes when it takes you to paypal to complete the payment the only options showing are log in to paypal or create an account and doesn’t always show the pay by card option. I think in general PayPal plugins are very poor but I think that is mainly paypals issue not the plugins.

    The tests were done on my testing environment, which does not have the same plugins and theme as your site, so it does not have the react the same way.

    We are here to help, so let us know if you have any other questions.
    Also, if you have the possibility, try out the next release. It should fix many issues we currently have. It might be worth it 😉
