    Hello

I’m using the gateway / currency module so PayPal shows $ , other gateways (cash & bank transfer ) are local currency , WC default is $ but I use a currency switcher to convert prices to local currency throughout the site.

I’m doing this because local currency is not supported by PayPal.

All works well except , when PayPal is selected as payment gateway , when customer continues to browse , the entire sites shows $, if customer leaves site with PayPal selected and comes back to it, the site currency is $ , not the one based on geolocation( local currency)

I want the site to show the local currency throughout, but only show $ on checkout. How do I make this work?

    Thanks for help.

No reply or feedback- but if anyone is looking for a solution here is what I worked for me after research:

1- Default currency = Local Currency. Used for bank transfer and cash.
2- To enable PayPal, I have a UK based bank account that I link PayPal to.
3- I use this plug-in https://wordpress.org/plugins/paypal-currency-converter-basic-for-woocommerce/#faq which basically converts currency only with PayPal checkout using a conversion rate)

So, this maintains local currency (which is unsupported by PayPal) and converts to supported currency should client wish to pay by PayPal.
