hi @talmoshe
take a look at this useful article of the author:
https://contactform7.com/faq/after-submitting-the-form-i-get-an-error-message/
https://contactform7.com/faq/i-get-an-error-message-with-a-red-border-so-how-can-i-solve-this/
let me know if helps, and if not try to:
-deactivate plugins
-switch theme
-install smtp plugin and test wp_mail functionality
I’m getting this error as well but there is no border color around the error message. It’s just white. This contact form has been working fine for a long time, not sure why now it’s not working.

I did what you suggested and the other plugin(smtp mail) and it worked.
but I would like to continue working with contact form 7 and not with this plugin…
all my forms are there and it will be a lot of work to move them..
any other suggestion?
with smtp plugin you will still continue to use cf7 (i suppose) but with a different way to send emails. isn’t it?
those kind of plugins overrides the normal wp_mail behaviour using the smtp protocol at the place of php mail, cf7 will use that way to send email you don’t need to change anything other
@codekraft
can you recommend on an smtp plugin that you know is good?
the one you pointed out (smtp mail) it’s working with cf7 just tested.
you have to choose smtp as protocol, in the mail plugin options.

still when I’m trying to send an email from one of my forms it gives the same error.
I sent a test mail from the smtp plugin and it reached.
the smtp plugin called Post SMTP and it says that it suitable to contact form 7
