New User Registration Log in not working

Hi I have created 2 different new user registration forms for different sections and one section works fine but when I create a new user on the other section and then log out and try to log back in as customer it keep giving me an error message that password isnot correct.

When I check the user in the backend it has changed the email I originally put in to nobody60deb75175ae6@www. (mydomain)

It keeps doing this and I am not sure because it does not do this on the other section.

Hi @kyliewfh

Did you add an Email address field in your Register form? UM Generates that email when there’s no Email Address field in the Form.

Yes I sure did put an email in but it changed it.

Have you made any customization with UM hooks? Could you please provide a screenshot of the Email Address field settings in the Form Builder?

Email form field settings

Also I set the user roles to direct to a specific URL after registration but this also is not working and it keeps me on the registration form and when I choose to use login page it takes my to my user page instead of the URL I have entered

Hi @kyliewfh

You need to use the Email address field instead of creating a new one. That’s why it generates a different email.

In the Form Builder of the Register form, click on the “+” to add a new field and see the “Predefined fields”. You will see the Email Address field that you can use for the Register form. Please see the screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zZt6VsZLw1loF9fLp-ycqvSOsztKJ7Y_/view?usp=sharing
