    Hello,

I am having a weird issue happening on the SG Optimizer plugin. When I go to the SG Optimizer page in the Dashboard, 2 visual things are happening that make me think something is wrong. Firstly, at the top in the Admin Bar, another plugin’s (UnderConstruction) text is going outside of the admin bar (becomes 2 rows), this does not happen on any other page of the dashboard and frontend of the site.

Second visual issue, when I scroll down in Supercacher settings to Excluding URLS, below the field and exclude button I have a 1.3k pixel gap of empty space (grey) before my list of excluded URLS, followed by another 1.3k pixel gap of empty space (white) until the separator and Test URL’s for Cache Status section. In terms of actual usage of the plugin, I have replaced my website logo using the plugin “Enable Media Replace”, but I cannot properly purge the cache. I have purged the cache multiple times and enabled/disabled dynamic caching, but the logo is still showing up as the old one. Previously this worked fine.

I managed to get it to show up with a Hard Refresh on the browser, but obviously I cannot do that for everyone who visits the site.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks.

    Hey there @shaharyarstrategic,

Could you provide a site URL, so we can check the issues you are experiencing?

    Kind regards,

    Hi @stoyangeorgiev!

I dont think you would be able to see it on the front end. I could give you access to the back end of the site but I would prefer to do it over a SG support ticket for security purposes, is that fine?

    Thanks.

    Hey there @shaharyarstrategic,

As for the first issue, most probably there is an issue with the styling of the icon of the plugin you’ve mentioned.

As for sharing credentials, I am afraid that we cannot do that here since it is against the forum guidelines.

You can just give a site URL here, also providing screenshots of the issue will be really helpful to replicate the issues you are experiencing and helping you further to solve them.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hello @stoyangeorgiev

So I have a couple of sites, and any site that has SG Optimizer version 5.8 or over is having this issue. I have another site where the plugin is version 5.7.20 and this doesn’t happen. This could be a styling issue from the plugin or could be a conflict with another plugin.

Now onto the screenshots : https://imgur.com/a/V5oHWbW

So when I go to the SG Optimizer plugin page, “1” is the issue that shows up. However, if I go to anywhere else on the website (front end or back end) this does not show up. For example if I go to the plugin page of UnderConstruction, you can see in “2” that it looks fine. But this is a minor visual issue, however I think it is a symptom. Now, If i scroll down on the SG Optimizer page, I see “3a”, “3b” and “3c”, which is what I described previously.

The exact same thing happens on another website that also has the plugin version 5.8.1. Now these are just visual things and I think they are just symptoms of a larger issue, which I previously mentioned. I replaced my website logo by overwriting the image file, and I could not get the new logo to appear on another device unless I did a hard refresh there. Purging the cache multiple times did not work. Mobile devices worked fine with having a need to do a hard refresh.

“As for sharing credentials, I am afraid that we cannot do that here since it is against the forum guidelines.” – Yes, this is why I suggested doing it over a support ticket on my SiteGrounds account. Giving you the URL would only show you the front end where you cannot see these visual issues happening, nor can you test the issues of purging the cache.

Please let me know if you can properly check the issue if I give you access to the WP front and back end over a SG support ticket.

    Thanks.

    Hey there @shaharyarstrategic,

You can post a support ticket and provide the ticket id here, so we can further investigate the issue.

Here is the ticket ID > 4044781

You can investigate 3 sites, 2 which have the same issue and 1 which does not. Please take a look.

    Thanks.

Just to update, the issue was addressed in the ticket. It seems the visual issue #1 is related to the Under Construction plugin itself, and the visual issue #2 is due to me using a Firefox browser, which they said they will fix in a future update. And the purging of the cache works fine.

    Thanks.
