    Hey!

When folks subscribe to out mailing list, they get a code for a 10% discount. I wanted to send out an email reminding those who haven’t used it yet. I don’t see a segmenting option for it so I guess that’s out.

Is there a way to exclude specific email addresses from receiving an email? That way I can easily exclude those who have already used the coupon code.

    Thanks!

  • Hi, @sinaasappel!

Are you sending those coupons with a regular newsletter or with a Welcome Email? If you’re using a Welcome Email then it won’t be possible to create a segment out of it.

If you’re sending a newsletter, you could create a segment based on whom clicked or not clicked on a specific link, however, if you’re sending the coupon via plain text in the email and not a link, then it’s not possible to identify if at least they claimed it.

How about if you create a segment with subscribers who never bought anything (I’m assuming you’re using WooCommerce)? You can create a segment based on the total spent:

So you could email those who still didn’t purchase anything in the last X days. However, you really can’t be sure if they received already the coupon or not.

The solution might not be fully ideal, but you could think about it and consider.

    Hi there @sinaasappel,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
