Birform shortcode may cause blank page

    Hi all,

    I have a site using Brizy builder which has two forms created by Bit Form. These have been working until recently and now show a completely blank page. The pages and content are still there and if I remove the shortcode they appear without error. I installed Contact Form 7 to test and if I enter the shortcode for that form all works fine. As soon as I enter the shortcode for the Bit Form the entire page goes blank – white screen.

    There are a few other items I noticed such as when the bit form shortcode is entered, updating the page fails. It states “This page needs a refresh…”. I had this page saved as a draft and as soon as I clicked publish and error “publishing failed” appeared although it has been published.

    As soon as I remove the bitform shortcode all works fine again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Brizy v2.2.17
    Brizy Pro: v2.2.11
    PHP v7.2.34
    Wordpress v5.7.2

    Everything was updated earlier although I have just noticed that there is a PHP update available. Not sure if that relates to this?

    Just a quick update – I have updated to PHP v7.4 and all appears to be working again.

    I have kept the more up to date PHP version for now and also updated the plugin. I can report that all is still working (as presumed). Many thanks for your assistance and great support.
