Render blocking css

    Love the plugin, but Google’s Lighthouse tests and Page Speed Insights are flagging the plugin’s CSS as render blocking.

    Is there any way to reduce or eliminate this?

    Hey Thomas,

    Thanks so much for reaching out about this and for the kind words! Since Grow Social’s buttons usually show up in the first screenview on the site it’s a pretty tricky situation to try and get around for render blocking.

    Our plugin engineers are always looking into ways to further reduce the impact Grow Social has on a site, but in the meantime you could look into potential optimization/Critical CSS plugins to help take care of this for you.

    I don’t have any particular suggestions on what to go with as each site is different, but if you do go this route I would just double check that after the optimizations are done that Grow Social’s buttons are still functioning normally.
