    Hi there,

I am in the process of testing out Go Fetch Jobs with WP Job Manager. One feature I am unable to locate is viewing currently imported feeds (manually added) to review or edit them as needed.

Some of the early topics asked this question, and back then it was said there is no way to remove a feed. I’m hoping that is no longer the case. If a single feed can not be deleted, can it all be reset to start from scratch?

Also, much of the data is being imported, but my username is listed as the author. How can I edit the author to the source of the feed?

    Gratitude.

    Hello @ga4arts,

    Apologies for the late reply.

I’m not sure I understood what you mean. You can assign a feed per template. And you can edit and remove templates as you wish. Or do you mean you cannot identify imported jobs? If thats the case, you can enable a filter on the plugin settings, that will allow you to toggle between imported and regular submitted jobs.

Also, much of the data is being imported, but my username is listed as the author. How can I edit the author to the source of the feed?

During import, you are able to choose which user should be set as the author of the jobs. You’ll find an Author dropdown, on the import page.

    Hope it helped.

I appreciate the response. Sorry for the delay, but I think I missed the response email that was sent.

My question and your response helped. What I did not understand is that the three fields (load saved template, job providers, rss feed URL are three independent options to select. Once I add an rss feed to import, I then set all the parameters and name a template for this one feed. Afterward, I can go back and select that particular template to edit or delete.

What threw me was my perspective of a template. I interpreted it as a template to display all rss feeds that use that template.

Also, in the documentation that I was reading related to this, there was nothing that I could find that helped me understand this.

Regardless, I think I am now set to go. I’m still testing the plug-in (free version) to see how useful it is with my needs. I am finding, unfortunately, that my fondness for RSS feeds is not shared with my industry.
