• Hi,

I noticed that when using Safari there’s no button to quickly insert the date in its own field. In the page I linked there are many date fields and there are no problems visiting it with Chrome or Firefox, but if I try to use Safari I can’t easily insert the date and this could be a problem for some users. Does anyone know how to solve this? I hope this is enough to understand what my problem is, let me know if you ever faced it. Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,

Which version of Safari do you use?

The latest versions support the date input type. I could confirm the Data di Nascita field works on Safari with no problem.

    Hi Takayuki,

Thank you for your answer. I’m using version 14.0.1, there are no updates available for the moment, we tried on mobile and it actually works, but I can’t say the same for desktop version, we tried on three different devices and for all of them it seems that the date field is a common text field. We really don’t know what to do.. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

According to Apple’s release announcement version 14.1 is the first release that supports the date input type in macOS.
