Hi @lauratraveler
In the How does Wordfence get IPs subsection of the General Wordfence Options section on the All Options page you will need to set and save the option Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.
You can then find your IP address here (note that this detection is not always 100% accurate on cellular phone network connections):
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
You should then see your IP address on the line Your IP with this setting.
Thanks, @wfphil Should Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare. be selected only when using Cloudflare with the Cache Everything rule or should it be selected always when using Cloudflare, even when the caching method is set to Standard caching? I’m asking because Cache Everything is causing some issues on my site and I might have to go with Standard caching in the end. Thanks!

Hi @lauratraveler
Thank you for the update.
Caching should not affect the correct detection of IP addresses. If your domain name DNS records are pointing to Cloudflare then you must use the option Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.
