We used this Plugin because it solved a simple problem and it served the purpose well. We only needed custom avatars for users, we did not need a full membership solution – otherwise we would have chosen a full membershop solution.

Now you come around and chang this slim, performant, single-purpose plugin to a full membership solution.
Plugin-rebranding like this has to stop and has to be prevented in the plugins repository.
