    Hello,

Google suggest a readable image file name according to google guidelines at https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/google-images

Before post here, I read rankmath tutorial at https://rankmath.com/kb/image-seo/

It is really great that rankmath support dynamic add or change img alt/tile/caption/description attributes.

Unfortunately, it does not support to change image file name yet, would you take this post as feature request?

The advantage is that we do not need change an image file name of woocommerce product like 00047.jpg manually, and the image file name attached to a product will automatically show as <img arc=https://my site.com/tile-of-product-attached.jpg

Also, it would be great helpful for dropshipping site, since google is not friendly to dropshipping, and it always recognizes image by images file name no matter how you change image alt or caption.

For now, is there any code snippets to dynamic change image file name?

Thanks, and have a nice day!

Rank Math doesn’t do this, but you can use other plugins. I use Media File Renamer, which provides quick ways to match the filename to either the title or the alt text of the media item.

    Hello @galbaras,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for not following up quickly and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Sorry to disappoint but as @galbaras mentioned, that feature is unfortunately not available at this time.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.

For now, you can utilize other plugins to achieve that.

    Hope that helps.
