• Unfortunately, this plugin has an important drawback: it doesn’t allow to save the translated pages where the user needs. So after deactivating plugin the user is going to lose all translations, all translated pages which were done with the plugin. And it might mean much work because many users do translations manually.
If the developer allows to save the translated pages, it would be the best plugin for translations.

  • Hello,

    Thank you for the review.

This is due to the way TranslatePress is constructed.
TranslatePress saves translations at the string level, while the other translation plugins saves at the post level.
We don’t create new pages like them, but every existing page in your site will have a “translated version”, even if its strings are translated or not.

This is not a lack of a feature but a limitation of how the plugin operates.

Operating at the posting level would make your entire website much slower and our solution to the speed problem is to work at the string level.

That being said, we want to thank you for your feedback.

    Cheers,
