• Hello suddenly my error log if full of these errors

Aq_Resize.process() error: $url parameter is required

but I’m not using any plugin to resize images nor AquaResize and I’ve yet asked to my theme developer that has excluded that this has something to do with the theme so I’m getting mad since I really don’t know where the error come from.

I’m using a lot of plugin so I can’t test disabling them. I’m asking here if someone has any idea on how to get rid of this problem. Eventyally I can post a list of all the plugin I’m using but any suggestion is appreciated…

    Thanks!

    Perhaps you use this plugin?
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-log-url-parameter-is-required/

Or perhaps you use a theme called “bitz”?
    See https://wordpress.org/support/topic/aq_resize-process-errors-for-images-hosted-on-cdn/

It seems a very common error in all softwares using that “aqua resizer”, so to find the culprit you have to either google this error and find which plugin or theme you and others have in common, or create a testing site (copy of your live site) and test by disabling plugin and theme until you found the culprit.

Then, you’d have to enter in contact with the support of the software you find to be cause of it.

Thanks, I’m using AMP for WP that is the problem. I’ve written the developer and I’m waiting for a solution from them but they seem not to be aware of the problem and are asking me a staging environment to do some test, environment that I don’t have….

If you are sure the issue happens when only That plugin is active I’m sure the plugin developer also should be able to replicate it

However often such issues are conflict results between several plugins and then it’s important to have a testing site (staging)

It is important anyway, you don’t want to be working on a live site in any case if possible to avoid.
You’ll save yourself a lot of time and headaches once you’ve set this up so you can always test and “play around” on a staging site (testing site) before ding things on the live install
