[Plugin: Countdown Timer] Include in Excerpt

Hello,

Is there a way I can include my timer in a wordpress excerpt or teaser so it displays on an archive page? Currently, I use the code:

fergcorp_cdt_single date=”1 April 2010 20:00:00 -500″]

But instead of rendering a timer, it just displays it like that.
