Hello, @claudiamarras
Please, re-install the CleanTalk Anti-Spam Plugin with the Complete Deactivation option:
• WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Complete Deactivation” to “On” —> Save Changes;
• WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Delete.
Then install it anew:
https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress
Did it help?
Hello,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this thread as “resolved”.

Hi @amagsumov
I’m seeing the same error but this was after reinstalling the plugin.
Initially, I was getting the below error:
Errors:
2021-07-19 06:57:13: Error occurred while updating SpamFireWall local base. Error: EXCLUSIONS: COULD_NOT_WRITE_TO_DB 4: Table ‘nbrdfsxbxm.wp_cleantalk_sfw_temp’ doesn’t exist
After reinstalling the plugin, as you suggested, I now get the below error:
Errors:
2021-07-19 09:18:07: Error occurred while updating SpamFireWall local base. Error: WRONG_UPDATE_ID
I’ve noticed a number of spam signups to my newsletter recently. I’m assuming this is related.
Any suggestions for what the issue might be?
Thanks
Hello @cs-ilck.
The error can be cured by synchronizing with the cloud (go to WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> gray button on the top of the page). If the error still persists after that, let us know.
This error was caused by SpamFireWall updating and cannot affect the spam registration. Please, mark records in your Anti-Spam Log if our service made a wrong decision. The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/help/faq#feedback_spam. We will analyze them to understand what is happening.
Many thanks @katereji, that appears to have resolved the issue!
