Can’t link in post

    Hello

    Yesterday i noticed that no i cant use the link command when i post something and this worked fine before.

    When i am using the visual to write my post the Link area is grey and i cant click on them. If i then write in the link command it wont show in the final post.

    I am using wordpress 2.92 and the theme Pixel 2.0.1

    I havent changed anyting in them and linking in post worked before.
    Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Hello again, yes i tried that now, and when all the plugins were gone and the default theme was activated links still dont work.

    I also tried to use the automatic install and i installed wordpress again but still the same thing, i cant put links in my post 🙁

    Did you re-install using a fresh download of WordPress 2.9.1?

    Have you tried using a different browser? Or a different machine?

    Maybe I misunderstand your problem, but maybe not?

    The link icon in the wysiwyg editor is grayed out until you highlight the text you wish to make into the anchor text for the link.

    If i then write in the link command it wont show in the final post.

    Perhaps you’re using the wrong codes?

    I am having the same or a similar issue. Tried deactivating plugins and reinstalling. My links are broken regardless of whether I use wordpress link button or if I type the code in my self. If I copy/paste the code to my other blog, it works fine. HELP!
