    Hello,

How can I rename “standard” tax class to “EU + UK VAT only”?

you can change the text “Standard” by using a free translation plugin like Loco Translate. This will allow you to find that phrase and change it to be what you’d like.

is there a way to rearrange the order to show “none” first in the drop down?

Are you using a shipping or tax plugin? The screenshot doesn’t look like a section within core WooCommerce.

    Hi @maykato

    Thanks for the info!

I am using Dokan but the woocommerce tax settings.

    Best,
    Chris

    Hi @pleazo,

Thanks for letting us know! It’s not possible with default WooCommerce functionality to change the default list for Tax Status, but you could likely accomplish that with a customization.

I did a quick search and found this code that is meant to change the default tax status for your products to None for at least your new products: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54226995/set-tax-status-to-none-by-default-on-new-product-creation-in-woocommerce/54259369#54259369

I haven’t tested this code so can’t confirm that it works, but hopefully it will get you moving in the right direction 🙂

    Hi @pleazo

If the previous solution by @jlundie doesn’t work for your store, you may want to consider a custom solution to reorder the list of tax classes.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack.
