    I just sent you a small donation for your great work. I have a question: Where can I find documentation to format a list like this:

    I have a database with multiple fields for email and phone numbers. I want to list the e-mail and phone numbers vertically instead of horizontally

    Example below:
    Currently:
    Name1 email1 email2
    Name2 email1 email2

    Desired:
    Name2 email1
    email2
    Name2 email1
    email2

    etc.

    Miller Janet 399 Somestreet Somecity 3999 CA email@email.com 999-999-9999
    email2@email.com 991-991-9991

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m afraid that that is nor really possible — unless those email addresses are in the same table cell.
    Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Guten Abend Tobias, thank you so much for your quick response. Unfortunately I cannot share the link due to privacy concerns as it is an address book only visible to registered users. I think I would have to write some program code to read the table and display the information. I was hoping to be able to display the information on two or more rows in the output. It is not very important, just a thought as format of the list doesn’t look very nice.

    It is not really a problem, but something I may need to address with the fixed columns extension.

    I see. Can you then maybe email me the link (the address is on https://tablepress.org/impressum/ ).
    Maybe I can think of a solution, though we are constrained by the fixed grid structure of a table a bit…

    the site I am working on is still under ‘construction’ and not available to the public yet. I will setup Tablepress on another site I manage and have prepared ‘obfuscated’ data for information protection.

    I will send you an e-mail this weekend and document what I am looking for, to give some ideas that might be useful for others.

    Hi,

    thanks for detailed screenshots and the link in the email! I understand what you mean now. Unfortunately, as indicated above, I don’t see a possibility to achieve this. The fixed grid of the table does not allow for such a layout, where the content of on column is integrated into the content of the cell on the left of it. Sorry 🙁
