    Hi everyone;
    I am using arras theme and am getting close to allowing people to add articles themselves. I am using the adminimize plugin so that new authors (contributor role)only have access to their profile and the post area.

    This is the easiest option but how secure is this and would a more secure option be to create a members registration page and create a form submission page for them to post from? This would obviously then prevent any access to the dashboard. I would them have to create templates for these pages separately. Any thoughts?

    Many thanks

    Ok I think this will work;
    I have set “any one can register” to subscriber,
    used “register plus” plugin for the registration,
    then used “login redirects” plugin to take them to a submission page using
    “tdo miniforms” plugin to create the submission form.

    This means they can submit an article and not have any access to the backend – I think this will be just fine unless anyone else has any suggestions?
