    I want the main page of my custom style instead of wordpress default style or other templates, is it possible?

    Yep, it sure is. There is a way that you can manually go and edit the code for static pages. In your dashboard, go to Settings –> Reading. It will have a whole bunch of options, but what you’re looking for is the “Front page displays” section. It gives you the option to choose a static page, or a blog post. If you click on the hyperlink that says “static page” then you’ll be taken to a list of static pages. You should only have one right now…it’s the “about” page. You can add as many as you would like though. Hope this helps.

    i had designed the page in adobe dreamweaver and where should i paste the files? to get that as home page.

    you’d have to upload any picture files to your server….and cut and paste the code for the page in the “HTML” section of the static page in WordPress. It’s a little bit difficult if you’re not familiar with WP.
