How do I customize the password protected page without any plugins? For instance, how do I remove the “Protected” text and insert my own Excerpt that visitors can view?

Hi @droyed,

You can’t customize that without using plugins or creating a child theme with custom code.

@droyed Not really. Any plugin with that functionality should do the trick.
