Coupon field not showing on checkout page

    For some reason my coupon field won’t show up in the checkout page, but only in the cart. Customers however do not use the cart page and goes directly to the checkout page. How can I get the field to show on both pages?

    Hi there,

    Looking at the checkout page, it seems like the layout/fields have been customised. Are you using a checkout field/layout customisation plugin (or code)? If you’re unsure yourself, can you share a copy of your status report found under **WooCommerce > Status**?

    If you know that you are indeed using code/plugin to customise the checkout page, is the coupon field showing up after disabling that plugin/code temporarily?

    Hi

    Yes, I use Swiipe which customises the checkout page, but even if I deactivate it the field still isn’t showing.

    Thanks for sharing the additional information and SSR @cmuriel.

    It seems a full conflict test is necessary to find out if this issue is being caused by a plugin/theme conflict.

    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Check if the issue is still there (no coupon code field in the checkout)

    If you’re not seeing the problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
