Sending email times out

    Hi have set up Wp mail SMTP to use my own email smtp, but sending emails from site, or sending test email just results in a timeout then 404 page
    can anyone point me in right direction?

    have checked correct details,
    Have tried with TLS and SSL

    Hi @designhero,

    Thanks for the details! The plugin can’t connect to the SMTP host you’ve specified with the SMTP setting you’re using. It tries to connect, could not, and eventually times out. If you’re using correct SMTP settings, you might need to troubleshoot your SMTP server.
