Hello Guys,

Woocommerce is an excellent software. But I am personally shocked that the order management/administration needs to be done inside the wordpress admin dashboard. I can imagine the face of a developer when realising that backoffice personnel will need to work within the wordpress admin all day long.

Does anyone know if there is a way/platform/function which to export the order administration to a separate system (exports of reports will certainly create more work as they cannot be actioned in situ), or at least URL outside of the wordpress admin dashboard?

Okay, I can understand your point. WooCommerce is a part of the WordPress community. I believe when WooCommerce was introduced, its goal was to let the existing WordPress users create their own shop within the tools and features they were familiar with. This has been continuing till now. Most of the users are WordPress fans hence they love to manage everything within WordPress.

As the community grows, the need for advanced features has increased as well. There are several third-party solutions that will allow you to manage WooCommerce orders and others within a custom dashboard. Here are few suggestions –

YITH FRONTEND MANAGER FOR WOOCOMMERCE
WooCommerce Dashboard for WP Marketplace & Multi Vendor
WooPanel – FrontEnd Manager for Store Manager and WooCommerce Vendor

More advanced developers can create their own application using WooCommerce’s REST API information – https://woocommerce.github.io/woocommerce-rest-api-docs/
