• Hi,
I created a child theme that is using pretty much the starter theme, Canard, except some styling changes. BUT we want to add a call to action block, like some logos/links in a row–a reusable block–just above where the footer widget area. I was wondering if it’d be possible to call/get that reusable block in the footer.php file? If so, how? thanks

Hi @jerryb2013, great question. We’re support for this specific theme rather than for theme development in general, so would you mind asking in the forums for advanced/developer discussions? I think you’ll get your best answer there:

My best guess, though, would be that you’d add a widget area to your child theme, then use your block there.
