Compatible with WPML

Hi team

I have just installed the free version of your product filter plugin – which works perfectly in the main language of my website (FR). However, when switching to the 2nd language (NL), the filter just disappears.

I am using WPML as translation plugin. Do you know whether your plugin is compatible with this WPML? If yes, could you please point me in the right direction in to how to make the filter appear in NL as well?

Hi team

A little update on this matter, I have managed to get the filters in the main language FR correct: https://snipboard.io/ehd4cR.jpg

In the meantime, I have managed to get 1 filter in NL: https://snipboard.io/BusjRa.jpg
However, as you can see, I have just 1 category showing and it is in FR. I checked and all my categories have already been translated into NL.

I have also translated my tags (“étiquettes” in FR) into NL, but they don’t show at all.

Could you please help me?

Hi there,
we fixed the issue but the new version is not yet online.
Please download the file here and replace it to following path
yith-woocommerce-ajax-navigation\includes\filters

Let me know if the problem persists

I have replaced the file like you asked me to, however the problem remains as is. I don’t think however that it’s got do so something with your plugin, I guess it’ just me who don’t know how it works with WPML…

As you can see, the FR page is showing correctly: the correct product categories and the correct filters. https://snipboard.io/gaZuCt.jpg

The problem is still with the NL page: I still don’t get the NL categories and the NL filters on the shop page: https://snipboard.io/EOfP3v.jpg

Do you have some sort of manual for this, or would you need admin credentials so you can check what’s going on?

Hi there,

we are working in a new version of this plugin to add the support for latest WooCommerce release. The new version will include the WPML support.
Could you waiting for now release, please ? We think to release it in a couple of days.

I have updated the plugin and tried again, but there is still something that I don’t understand.

I have set-up my filters in the main language (FR) and I translated via WPML. https://snipboard.io/OkzVl0.jpg https://snipboard.io/KdvOmj.jpg

Via the dashboard/appearence/widgets I added the correct preset to be shown in both languages https://snipboard.io/GENvsJ.jpg

Any idea how this is possible? Do I have to create a preset in NL as well or what can I do?

Hi there,

you need to duplicate the YITH Preset. You find a wpml translator metabox at the end of the preset page.

However, we haven’t never tested the Advanced Translation Editor of WPML, so could you try to use the standard one, please ?

If possible, ould you please send us a link where we can see the preset in action ?

What do you mean by using the standard translation editor? When I click on the little pencil, I am automatically redirected to the advanced one…
