Alipay not working

    Hi,

    We have been installed stripe on my ecommerce and enabled the alipay checkout. System success generate a qr-code, but fail to pay with alipay HK app & general aliplay app. The return messsage (try to disactive another useless plugin, but same result):
    alipay HK app – “system is busy, please try again later, or pay in desktop account”
    general aliplay app – “Merchant transaction information is incomplete, system temporarily unable to use Alipay, please contact the merchant”

    after check the log, stop in “Redirecting to Alipay” step
    ====Stripe Version: 4.9.0====
    ====Start Log====
    Info: Redirecting to Alipay…
    ====End Log====

    Is it missing any information or setting? we just input three key and enabled “Payment Request Buttons”

    Hi @oeterchui! I understand you’re having issues with AliPay when using Stripe.

    There are a couple of additional steps you need to take in order to use AliPay on your site.

    First, note that Stripe Alipay has a separate settings page from the normal Stripe plugin in WooCommerce. You can get to it by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe Alipay. The next couple steps are listed on this settings page, but I’ll list them here as well for clarity:

    1. You need to activate AliPay as a payment method in your Stripe dashboard: https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/payments/settings.

    2. You need to add the webhook endpoint for your site to your Stripe account settings at https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/webhooks. The exact URL for this is shown on your Stripe Alipay settings page and should end in ?wc-api=wc_stripe.

    Thanks for your reply.
    We enabled the stripe alipay in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe Alipay.
    and added the webhook endpoint ?wc-api=wc_stripe in https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/webhooks.

    but still not work, am I missing any step?

    Hey again!

    It sounds like you still might be missing a step:

    You need to activate AliPay as a payment method in your Stripe dashboard: https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/payments/settings.

    This is different than enabling it as a payment method in WooCommerce.

    Once that’s enabled, it should work.
