Beginner needs help

    I had it working on my site with a Weblog title and Tagline but want to change them.

    I tried at Dashboard/Options/General to enter a new Weblog Title and Tagline but when clicking on “Update Options” it reports (403) Forbidden (you don’t have permission etc.) and no change takes place.

    Meanwhile at Dashboard/Presentation/Current Theme Options/ Header Image & Color ( I can get a display of new entries OK )

    Could I make the new Title and Tag line somewhere else and FTP that file up to my site?

    Any ideas would be a big help – thanks!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
