my site is old. about 5 years ago, I added this plugin some time ago. but for some weeks now my site has been decreasing my indexed pages. new pages are not indexed normally. I follow all the standard configuration of the plugin.

I’m falling seo, I don’t know what to do if someone can give a help or a better configuration. the performance of my site is great. my entire site and my plugins are up to date as well as servers.

  • We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your website. We can confirm that Yoast SEO doesn’t set noindex automatically to an important page. It only set the noindex to a page when you define it or when the page isn’t necessary for you.

That said, we can definitely look into the relevant pages for you to see what’s going on. If you’d like us to do this, please share the relevant page URL here with us so that we can see what’s going on here.

all pages are relevant to me. I do about 50 to 100 posts a day. and these pages were quickly indexed nowadays they are not. my site has more than 114,000 pages.

in your opinion should i buy the premium version of the plugin to maybe solve this?

Google’s warning is: If it’s indexed and selected as canonical. how do i activate this?

Thanks for your clarification. Would it be possible for you to share an example URL so that we can check whether everything is technically correct?

That said, buying Yoast SEO Premium won’t fix the issue where Google isn’t indexing your newly published posts immediately as it depends on Google and your website. Google usually takes 24 hours to a few weeks to crawl and index pages.

On the other hand, the warning you’re referring to here isn’t very clear. You’ll to share the relevant screenshot in which you highlight the relevant error (make sure the relevant error is showing in English) and the relevant page URL as well so that we can confirm what’s going on and what to do to fix it.

I did the google webmaster search and it seems that everything goes well with the links. the warning from google is: The URL may appear in Google Search results with all relevant improvements if you have not received manual actions or removal requests.

    Indexed, not sent on sitemap

but it looks like ok. it must be a problem with me.

    Hi @cris20127,

Google seems to be telling you that the URLs have the ability to appear in Google. It also is letting you know it indexed the URLs but not through your sitemap. Google will sometimes find URLs on your site and index them via some other means.

We would say to monitor the issue in your Google Search Console and if you begin to notice issues with URLs to please let us know by making a new topic. As we will close this one as it appears to be resolved.

If you make a new topic be sure to provide the URLs so we can review them.
