Changed Link Structure – Anker Menu not working

Hello,
I have just increased iThemes Security to maximum settings. But somehow that changed my link structure. It now adds /# to my URL on my homepage, but I don´t know which setting is responsible for that.

Problem is that I am using Anker Links in the main menu to navigate to sections on the homepage like /#demo. This still works when you land on the homepage.

But now, when I click on the main menu item from another page, it dynamically rewrites the link to /#/demo and as this site does not exist, I get a 404 error.

Does anyone know which setting is responsible for that, so that I can reset it to not rewrite the link.
