Posts are assigned a category by default – cannot remove it!

    Hi,

    I moved from Blogger and now I have like 100 posts, which all are assigned the default category.

    If I bulk edit posts to assign them new category, still the default category is assigned to each one – so can I remove this? I can only remove it manually for each post (not bulk).

    I am not sure if I am clear.

    I have 100 posts. I assigned each post a category by doing a bulk edit to do it fast. However each category has the default category assigned to it and I cannot remove this via bulk edit. I can only remove it manually for each post.

    Any idea?

    I don’t believe you can ‘remove’ a category from a post via bulk edit.

    Do a search for the Batch Categories plugin and see if you like that.
