    My tables are not displaying properly on mobile screens. The header disappears and the columns shift into nothing but rows.

    I’ve tried some custom code from the forums and the responsive plugin extension, but can’t figure it out.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The behavior that you are seeing now (without the TablePress Extension) is caused by the “WP Strava” plugin that your site is using.
    In particular, in the file
    /wp-content/plugins/wp-strava/css/wp-strava.css
    there’s a section starting with

    /* Responsive Tables */

    Unfortunately, that’s coded in a way so that this code affects all tables on the site, including those from TablePress, instead of just those from that plugin.
    I recommend to remove or comment that section out in that file. You could also try contacting the WP Strava developers about this and ask them to fix their code, so that it will not affect other plugins, like TablePress.

    After that, you should be able to use the TablePress Extension without problems.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
