Can’t upgrade wordpress

    Hi,

    I haven’t been able to upgrade the last few WordPress upgrades for awhile.

    On my admin, It easily upgrades but on my hosting, whenever I press ‘upgrade’ IT degrade my admin WordPress even though it ended up showing an error during the hosting upgrade.

    Can someone advise? would appreciate.

    If auto updating does not work on your server, then try MANUALLY updating. Please read the Manual Update directions first.

    BACKUP: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups! See https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-backups/

    I am talking about the manual. auto doesn’t work and several attempts to update it manually degrade my WordPress admin upgrade.

    Right now, in my hosting account, I have 5.4 and on my WordPress, I have the very latest..
