PHP in Elementor editor

Hi all,

I added some PHP to the footer of different websites. I wanted to add the current year, so added this code in a Elementor text block:

<?php echo date(“Y”); ?>

Now I can’t edit the content anymore (screenshot: https://korsteninterieurbouw.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/elementor.png).

How to fix this?
